We do our best to make each camper happy in order to have a memorable experience here at 80/20 Sports Camp. My staff and I take priority in making sure the environment is a safe and enjoyable one as we train, feed, escort the kids to restrooms, and oversee them on breaks. However, we understand that things come up and you may need to cancel altogether, in the event that we cannot come to agree on a different week for your child. Please email or call us with unexpected information.
If you cancel up to two weeks prior to the session start date, then you will receive a FULL refund except for the 10% of the full total per registration and set up fees.
Thereafter, NO refunds will be given unless there is a serious medical condition that needs physician intervention. (please see below)
*At the time of registration, we confirm with staff and for lunches by how many campers we will have for the week. Therefore, food and employees are paid for, in advance, and other campers are deferred due to the great response we’ve had. Full refunds are only given, if cancelled, one week prior to the camp start date due to the expenses we incur. We are an outdoor camp in the summer, as explained, and we do our best to make each camper feel comfortable and protected.
MEDICAL REASON FOR CANCELLATION
We understand that medical issues may arise over the summer or just as your child is set to attend camp. Please call us as soon as possible to inform us of your need to cancel. We will ask that you submit a written excuse from your child’s physician. If your child is sick and there is time and room, we will work with you to switch your camper to a later session.
A camp day will only be canceled if the Park District closes the soccer fields at Foster Meadows for weather-related issues, or if lighting or thunder is experienced and expected to persist during a camp.
If a camp gets canceled or delayed due to the Park District weather-related field closures, 80/20 Sports will send out an e-mail alerting you of this cancellation at the e-mail address provided when you registered for camp.
In the event of any sighting of lightning or sound of thunder, camp instructors will remove all campers from the field and take them under one of our two shelters. The kids will stay underneath the shelter zones for at least 30 minutes from the time of the last sighting of lightning or the last sound of thunder.
If more than one day of camp in a given camp week gets canceled, then a camper will be allowed to make up the extra day(s) of canceled camp by attending any day of any future 80/20 Sports summer soccer camps. Parents must notify management at firstname.lastname@example.org with their desired make-up camp day prior to attending.
